Choose the part of the reception that matters
Start with the wedding timetable. Note when the room opens, when food is served, when speeches finish and whether evening guests join later. A two-hour booking and a four-hour booking cover different parts of that day; neither is automatically the right choice. Ask how setup fits any room turnaround.
Guest moments and setup ideas
Real photographs from the existing marketing gallery: guest moments and Mirror setups to help you describe the look you like for your reception.
Current Magic Mirror photos are paperless. These pictures show guest and setup ideas; backgrounds and equipment vary by booking.
A place guests can find
Discuss the booth position alongside the dance floor, bar, tables and routes through the room. The aim is a visible, easy-to-approach space that does not block the venue team or another activity. For the Mirror, include the carpet, barriers and props in the footprint you ask the venue to allow for.
Magic Mirror or another style?
The current Magic Mirror package has paperless QR photos, props, unlimited visits during the allocated time and a digital folder for the host afterwards. If you prefer a 360 clip, open-air setup or another look, ask for that format specifically. Features from one booth are not automatically included with another.
Talk about access and participation
Tell the team about steps, narrow doors, lifts and any guest participation needs before choosing the equipment. Discuss a practical arrangement for people who may need help using a phone or scanning a QR code. Agree the assistance and photo-access arrangements in advance.
What to put in the first brief
- Wedding date, venue name and postcode.
- Room access and changeover times, plus the proposed booth position.
- Approximate attendance and arrival time for evening guests.
- Preferred format and useful operating start and finish.
- Power, working Wi-Fi and any specific output or assistance requests.
Price and booking
Magic Mirror hire starts at £250 for two hours, with three- and four-hour options quoted for your event. Check the complete total, inclusions, access schedule and written booking terms before deciding. An enquiry does not hold the date.
